This is the core of PlayerScanner: a simple, reliable database of non-league players so managers and scouts can find the right player faster and players can be seen properly.
Launching soon. The live app will include full search, filters, favourites, and player profiles.
| Filter | Examples | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Position | GK, CB, FB, DM, CM, AM, W, ST | Quickly narrow down the role you actually need. |
| Status | Free agent / Signed | Find available players instantly, or scout future targets. |
| Age | Range or buckets | Recruitment needs change depending on squad planning. |
| Appearances | Min appearances | Find players with proven minutes, not one-off cameo stats. |
| Goals | Min goals | Quick signal for output (especially for attackers/mids). |
| Club | Current club | Track players you’ve watched and compare by level. |
| Location & travel | Based near X • willing to travel Y miles | Non-league recruitment is logistics as much as talent. |
Core stats like appearances/goals/club are pulled from trusted data sources and are not editable by players.
Players can still improve their profile with honest info: location, travel distance, attributes, bio, and highlight links (YouTube/TikTok/Instagram), without touching the official stats.
Fixtures and results drive traffic. Team sheets link players to their profiles. That means fans arrive for results, then discover players, then scouts/managers can shortlist.
This is how PlayerScanner becomes more than a scores app.
