About PlayerScanner

PlayerScanner is being built to solve a simple problem in non-league football: it’s hard for players to be seen, and hard for managers/scouts to find the right player quickly.

Focus: England • Steps 1–4 • Men’s football (for now). Women’s football will be added later when data coverage improves.

How it works (the simple version)

• Fixtures & Results bring fans, players and staff to the platform.
• Team sheets connect match players to their profiles (where possible).
• Player profiles show read-only official stats plus player-added info.
• The database lets managers/scouts search, filter and shortlist players.

Data integrity rules

PlayerScanner keeps official stats trustworthy. Appearances, goals and club information come from match data sources and are not editable.

Players can still add useful info: location, travel distance, attributes, bio and highlight links.

Why this matters in non-league

• Opportunities are often limited by geography and networks.
• Recruitment decisions are time-sensitive and information is scattered.
• A consistent database saves time and helps talent get noticed.
